I first tried this chair at E3 2015 and immediately fell in love with it. I am 5′ 11″, and 200 lbs, and I like to have room to move my large thighs around. The chair is a good fit but I do have some complaints now that I’ve had it for a couple weeks:
1) The lumbar support is not good. Included was their standard lumbar cushion, but there is nowhere to attach it (was designed for their other gaming chairs). Very disappointed about this oversight. Also, the cushion is too thick, and without it the lumbar support is not enough and gives a sore back after a while.
2) The arm rests do not go high enough. My desk is maybe 2″ to 3″ higher than most standard desks, and as a result the arm rests do not help support my arms when fully extended. Having no arm support results in muscle fatigue after about 30 minutes of typing. I will have to buy a new desk to make this work. I feel like for an XL chair, the arm rests should be able to go a bit higher.
3) Seat cushion is softer than I expected. I prefer firmer padding for extended use, but this actually hurts my butt after a few hours.
Other than those complains, the chair is very nice. It is quite big and can hold up to 400 lbs. The frame feels very sturdy, fabric is nice, very nice build quality overall. I was so excited to buy this chair, but after using it for a while I’m not sure it was the right fit for me. I will try it at another desk to see if the ergonomics work better for me.

Hi Trevor, thanks for the review. The lumbar cushion does attach, the centre padding of the backrest is open on the sides. You should be able to stick your fingers in on the sides and feed the strap behind. I’m surprised you think the padding is too soft, I thought is was quite firm. I can’t help you out with the armrest issue, it’s designed for a standard height desk. Let us know if you have any further questions.
