It's incredibly stable, and I'm a reasonably big guy (for you) at 6'2" and 210lbs. Even trying like an idiot to tip it over back and forth and side to side, it doesn't budge. I'd feel comfortable reclining it back and having a nap. The material seems and feels nice enough, it's got metal internal construction, and there are actual bearings. Time will of course tell how the material and padding hold up.
